It is longer than my other homemade cover I bought from Etsy. The bowed out section at the top that lets you see your LO is well placed. My only complaint is that the adjustable strap that goes around your neck slides too easily and I have to be careful not to let it get too loose, lest I let people see more than I intend. The slide at the top to keep track of the last side you nursed on is thoughtful, but I don't use it. The fabric is nice and lightweight, but still opaque enough to do its purpose. I thought this was an excellent cover, especially for the price. Though the plastic bit around the neck was supposed to make it easier for the mom to keep an eye on the baby while baby nurses, I found the plastic to be too flimsy to be effective. Washing the cover also made it very wrinkled, which is annoying since most new moms don't have time to be ironing. If you have any Aden + Anais swaddle blankets, tying one of those around your neck is just as effective as this nursing cover. |
